Zarys fabuły
Jessie po skończeniu szkoły średniej przeprowadza się do Nowego Jorku. Tam zostaje nianią w zamożnej rodzinie, mieszkającej w luksusowym apartamencie na Upper East Side. Trójka z czwórki dzieci, którymi ma się opiekować, została adoptowana. Każde pochodzi z innej części świata, kulturowo różni się od reszty i w typowy dla siebie sposób postrzega wszystko co się wokół dzieje. Bez wątpienia Jessie będzie miała ręce pełne roboty, zajmując się Emmą, Ravim, Lukiem, Zuri i ich ukochaną gigantyczną jaszczurką - Panem Kiplingiem!
